A birthday present for a friend of his alter ego The March.
Yep, still drawing. :p
Now, here’s the thing. Purple coloured pencils can be very capricious. Mixed with other colours they can be quite graceful. On their own however it’s harder to get them right.
Maybe it’s just a matter of Polychromos. Maybe other coloured pencils are easier in temperament. I’ll keep practicing with these ones and see which ones will work best.
We’re as free as starving wolves!
Inspired by the /lyrics/ of Guren no Yumiya.
Pencil, ink, and two lectures.
The only reason its greyscale is because I forgot to bring my coloured pencils to school today.

A commission for a user on Furaffinity
Hi folks! Long time no see, eh? Well, University’s been clawing into my torso for the past while so I haven’t really been able to sit down and actually /work/ on a drawing.
Nevertheless, here is a commission I did! I think I’m getting better at drawing rocks and bodily forms. Thanks for viewing!
Their unity will be poisoned. Their duty will be broken. Their destiny I must shatter! – Makuta
Acrylics and coloured pencils on 15 x 20 illustration board. Now, this painting was especially fun because i was a big fan of Bionicle. Still am, actually. The concept and story are fascinating, and the designs are really interesting. I used to own Guurahk before I lost him years ago, and he was my favourite of the lot. However, I felt that needed more green characters so I went with the poisonous Lerahk instead.
Not bad anyway because Lerahk’s staff is fun to draw. Heheheh.
After the credits rolled, I did a bit of reflection. The movie itself was visually gorgeous, though the story’s beginning could have been done better. It was based off the style used in the real life Book of Kells and its kindred manuscripts. Illuminated manuscripts in general, really. How the hell monks had the patience for this kind of stuff beats me. Well…okay they did have almost all their life to pull these off. Taking that into consideration these final texts become exceedingly precious.
Anyway, I decided to do some work in appreciation of the movie’s visuals. My style is more on the semi-realistic side, compared to the abstractization of SoK. I tried combining the two into something that I consider a tad ways odd, but interesting.
Media: Coloured pencils and sakura white ink on acrylics, illustration board 15×20

The fun thing about ACEOs is that they’re really small, so its a challenge to get tiny details in there. This particular 2.5×3.5″ card was drawn with coloured pencils and white sakura ink.
The Malevolent Grimdark Toaster Dragon.
My own design, based on two givens: a very evil toaster and a morningstar tail.
Coloured pencils on 8.5 x 11 paper, with a bit of ink detail.
